Wordle Answer Today’s (May 8, 2022) – Word of the Day #323

Fresh answers to Wordle (Word of the Day) – is something we are constantly working on. We start our morning with Wordle before we even have a cup of coffee to be as relevant to you as possible!
You don’t know what it’s about yet? Wordle is a web-based word game created and developed by Welsh software engineer Josh Wardle, and owned and published by The New York Times Company since 2022. Players have six attempts to guess a five-letter word, with feedback given for each guess in the form of colored tiles indicating when letters match or occupy the correct position. The mechanics are nearly identical to the 1955 pen-and-paper game Jotto and the television game show franchise Lingo.
If you explain in more detail, then Wordle has a very simple concept: to guess the five-letter word in six guesses or less. There are no initial clues as to what the word could be and can be any word in the American English language. This may make it sound like an impossible game, but once you have made your first guess, the tiles containing the letters will change into one of three colours.
Green lets you know that the letter is in the word and has been placed in the correct position. Yellow means that the letter is in the word somewhere, just not where you have currently placed it. If the letter does not appear in the word at all, the tile will change grey, which means you want to refrain from using this letter in subsequent guesses where possible.

What is the Wordle 323 Answer Today? (May 8th, 2022)
Here is how I managed to solve the Wordle 323 word in five guesses today. First I guessed the word ‘AUDIO’, which showed me that there is an A in the word, but it has not been correctly placed.
I then guessed the word ‘STAMP’ as this places the A in a different position as well as using different letters than the ones already guessed. Unfortunately this was not a good guess as it did not reveal any new letters, nor did it place the A in the correct place.
The next word I guessed was ‘CREAK’ as this moves the position of the A and also has an E in it, the only vowel left to guess. Again, the word was not place the A in the correct place, but it did place the C correctly at the start of the word.
As there is no other vowels, the A is more than likely the second letter as it is not the third or fourth letter. This also makes me thing that there must be a double letter in the word, which ends in a Y, so I guessed the word ‘CATTY’.
I had forgotten that I had already guessed a T, but at least it placed the A in the correct position (finally) as well as showing me that the word does end in a Y. I then managed to solve the answer to Wordle 323 in my next guess, which is…
CANNY!

Well done if you managed to guess the word correctly today.
