Wordle Answer Today’s (May 7, 2022) — Word of the Day #322

Fresh answers to Wordle (Word of the Day) — is something we are constantly working on. We start our morning with Wordle before we even have a cup of coffee to be as relevant to you as possible!

You don’t know what it’s about yet? Wordle is a web-based word game created and developed by Welsh software engineer Josh Wardle, and owned and published by The New York Times Company since 2022. Players have six attempts to guess a five-letter word, with feedback given for each guess in the form of colored tiles indicating when letters match or occupy the correct position. The mechanics are nearly identical to the 1955 pen-and-paper game Jotto and the television game show franchise Lingo.

If you explain in more detail, then Wordle has a very simple concept: to guess the five-letter word in six guesses or less. There are no initial clues as to what the word could be and can be any word in the American English language. This may make it sound like an impossible game, but once you have made your first guess, the tiles containing the letters will change into one of three colours.

Green lets you know that the letter is in the word and has been placed in the correct position. Yellow means that the letter is in the word somewhere, just not where you have currently placed it. If the letter does not appear in the word at all, the tile will change grey, which means you want to refrain from using this letter in subsequent guesses where possible.

What is the Wordle 322 Answer Today? (May 7th, 2022)

Here is how I managed to solve the Wordle 322 word in only three guesses today. First I guessed the word ‘AUDIO’, which was a good guess as it placed the D in the correct position in the word as well as showing me that there is an I in the answer, but it has not been placed correctly.

I then guessed the word ‘SIDES’ as I wanted to see if I could place the I correctly in the word and to see if there is an S or E in the answer. This word placed the I in the correct position and it also showed that there is an S in the answer as well.

I know that the S has to be the fourth letter as it is not the first or last letter in the word. I then managed to solve the answer to Wordle 322 in my next guess, which is…

MIDST!
