Wordle Answer Today’s (April 6th 2022) – Word of the Day #291

Fresh answers to Worldle (Word of the Day) – is something we are constantly working on. We start our morning with Wordle before we even have a cup of coffee to be as relevant to you as possible!
You don’t know what it’s about yet? Wordle is a web-based word game created and developed by Welsh software engineer Josh Wardle, and owned and published by The New York Times Company since 2022. Players have six attempts to guess a five-letter word, with feedback given for each guess in the form of colored tiles indicating when letters match or occupy the correct position. The mechanics are nearly identical to the 1955 pen-and-paper game Jotto and the television game show franchise Lingo.
If you explain in more detail, then Wordle has a very simple concept: to guess the five-letter word in six guesses or less. There are no initial clues as to what the word could be and can be any word in the American English language. This may make it sound like an impossible game, but once you have made your first guess, the tiles containing the letters will change into one of three colours.
Green lets you know that the letter is in the word and has been placed in the correct position. Yellow means that the letter is in the word somewhere, just not where you have currently placed it. If the letter does not appear in the word at all, the tile will change grey, which means you want to refrain from using this letter in subsequent guesses where possible.

What is the Wordle 291 Answer Today? (April 6th, 2022)
Here is how I managed to solve the answer to Wordle 291 in five guesses today. I started with the word ‘AUDIO’ which showed me there is an A and O in the word, although they have not been placed in the correct positions.
The next word I guessed was ‘BOATS’ as this places the O and A in different positions as well as using letters I have not previously used. Unfortunately no other letters in the word were revealed at this point but I did manage to place the O in the correct position.
I then guessed the word ‘POLAR’ to see is the A is the fourth letter and different letters were used. Unfortunately, this guess left me with no more information about the answer, apart from letters that aren’t in it. As the A is not in the fourth letter, it has to be the last letter.
The next word I guessed was ‘CREAM’ to see if I could reveal any more letters in the word even though I knew it could not be the answer. This was a great guess as it placed the C correctly at the start of the word as well as showing me there is an M in the word. This was all the information I need to guess the answer to Wordle 291. which is…
COMMA!

Well done if you managed to guess the word correctly today.
