You have probably already come across empty paintings hanging in Hogwarts. It would seem a trifle, the owner went to visit. However, everything is somewhat more complicated, and this is a whole interesting puzzle to find the missing moth.
How to solve it? Light the Lumos near such a picture and it will display the place where the moth was lost. Find a spot, reactivate the Lumos, and bring the moth to his painting. The reward will be a manual page. Library
Where to find a painting? Second floor of the library, southeast corner — if anything, don’t forget to cast Revelio.
Where to find a moth? The opposite side of the library is centered, next to the large portrait of the librarian.
Big hall
Where to find a painting? Near the Great Hall (room on the left) under the huge banner of Hogwarts.
Where to find a moth? Great Hall, director’s seat.
Dark Arts Defense Tower
Where to find a painting? Defense Against the Dark Arts Tower, on the left wall.
Where to find a moth? From the painting, go down the aisle with the knights and statues, go up one floor up the stairs and to the left all the way to Professor Fig’s classroom.
North hall in the wing of the bell tower
Where to find a painting? From the courtyard of the bell tower, go up the left stairs and forward until you reach the North Hall. Turn left there and go up the stairs.
Where to find a moth? Secret room in the History of Magic classroom. You will need Alohomora to open the door.
Slytherin Dungeon
Where to find a painting? Get to the Main Staircase, from there go straight and to the right to the end (long way).
Where to find a moth? From the empty painting, go further down the dungeon, turning right. When you hit the wall, turn left — the moth is sitting about 15 meters near the tapestry with thestral.
Ravenclaw Tower
Where to find a painting? From the Ravenclaw tower, go down the spiral staircase.
Where to find a moth? Just climb back up and look at the right wall.
astronomy tower
Where to find a painting? From the Astronomy Tower, go up the stairs to the room with the painting.
Where to find a moth? Top of the Astronomical Tower.
Fetid passage
Where to find a painting? From the Transfiguration Yard, enter the Defense Against the Dark Arts Tower, turn right, and go up the stairs. At the skeleton, turn right into the Fetid Passage — the painting hangs on the right at the beginning of the passage.
Where to find a moth? Move further along the passage and in the hall with tapestries and statues, look to the left at the tapestry with the centaur.
Viaduct courtyard
Where to find a painting? From the courtyard, go down the stairs and go forward, keeping to the right side. You will come across a statue of a werewolf, and to the right of it there will be a wall with a painting.
Where to find a moth? Move back to the point with the flying flame, there go up the stairs to the left for 2 levels and immediately to the left there will be a passage with a statue of a kelpie, where the moth hid.
