Romain Saiss, Sofyan Amrabat, Azzedine Unai (Morocco)

Morocco is the main sensation of the 2022 World Cup. All parts of Regraga’s tactical mechanism are beautiful, but we knew some of the stars before the World Cup, so we will tell you about the most unexpected performances.

The defense of Morocco is the main reason for the success of the African team. Captain Romain Saiss is remembered for several seasons at the base of Wolverhampton, a closed team that skillfully dried the game in the Premier League. This year he moved to Besiktas and did not lose his best qualities.

Sofyan Amrabat shone in the support zone of the Moroccans. A few years ago, the defensive midfielder had a strong season at Verona, but at Fiorentina, good stretches were combined with failures. After the World Cup, Amrabat got a real chance – a tough player with technique will come in handy for many top clubs. In FIFA 23, the Moroccan received an inconspicuous card. In the new part, EA will have to revise Amrabat’s indicators.

Azzedine Unai was known only to big fans of Ligue 1 before the World Cup. The midfielder with a lean physique was remembered for his technique and a large amount of work. Unai is only 22 years old, so we expect progress from him. In EA FC 24, the Moroccan will definitely get a gold card.

Cody Gakpo, Andris Noppert (Netherlands)

Team van Gaal reached the 1/4 finals, where they fought smartly with Argentina, and a couple of new names broke out in its composition. The covert role under the strikers was played by PSV’s Cody Gakpo. Fans have been waiting for the transfer of the young winger back in the summer, and over the past six months he has earned the fame of a real star. Man United are top contenders for Gakpo.

Another Dutch discovery is Heerenveen goalkeeper Andris Noppert. A few years ago, he was in the reserves of Foggia, and now he made his debut at the 2022 World Cup. The two-meter keeper lost the penalty shootout with Argentina, but overall had a good tournament. The rating of the new first number of the Netherlands in FIFA is only 69 points.

Surprise of the Netherlands: goalkeeper without 50 career matches – based on the World Cup. Meet Andris Noppert

Goncalo Ramos (Portugal)

Goncalo Ramos barely played in the group stage, but replaced Ronaldo in the playoffs and was remembered for a spectacular hat-trick in the match against Switzerland. The Benfica graduate started only the second season at the base of the Lisbon club and scored 14 goals in six months. Ramos is the main contender for the position of forward for the Portuguese national team in future tournaments.

Alexis Mac Allister (Argentina)

Alexis Mac Allister made it to the base of the Argentines after the match with Saudi Arabia and played the rest of the tournament matches. The red-bearded midfielder is an important player and full-time Brighton penalty taker, and his World Cup success is sure to make top club scouts take a closer look at him. McAllister’s FIFA card is still behind the Argentine’s achievements.

Stephen Eushtakiou (Canada)

Team Canada did not make it out of the group, but was remembered for high pressure and high-speed attacks. They were conducted by Stephen Eushtakiou. The midfielder was born in Canada, but spent his entire career in his parents’ homeland, and this summer he moved to Porto. The Fiefers were hardly surprised by his progress, as Eushtakiou is the third gold Canadian player in the Ultimate Team mode.

Dominik Livakovic (Croatia)

Joshko Guardiola has long been expected in top clubs, but the heroic goalkeeper of the Croats, Dominik Livakovic, is more memorable at the World Cup. Dinamo Zagreb’s penalty shooter has been around for a long time: he hasn’t dropped below 80 in footsim for several years, and in the last part he was raised to 82. Perhaps Livakovic will replace Neuer at Bayern this winter.

Salem Al-Dosari (Saudi Arabia)

Salem Al-Dosari is a well-known techie from Saudi Arabia. At this World Cup, he scored the winning goal against Argentina (2:1), and in the last round he hit the gates of Ochoa. Al-Dosari has a rich biography. Five years ago, he was considered the main Saudi star and left for Villarreal, but did not gain a foothold in the rotation of the Spanish club. After returning to Al-Hilal, Al-Dosari peaked, and in FIFA 23 his rating reached a solid 77 points. Definitely would not get lost in the RPL!
