Walkthrough Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Prologue Guide

Walkthrough Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Prologue Guide

On this page of the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla guide, you will find a walkthrough of the prologue.

The prologue in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is a really short introduction in which you won’t have too much to do and you won’t experience any combat or dexterity elements.

You start your adventure as young Eivor. Go through the door to get to a larger room where a feast is taking place. Go forward and start a cut-scene during which you will meet Eivor’s father – Varin. Your first quest is to give the king a special gift that will unite the clans.

You will encounter young Sigurd. Turn right to speak to your mother, Rosta. Go on towards Varin and the king to give him a gift – watch another short cut-scene.

The feast will be interrupted by a surprise attack on the settlement. The participants of the feast will charge into battle with the invader, and you will continue to play as young Eivor. Go towards the open door on the right. When you go outside, you will witness the brutal struggle that has started in the settlement. Varin wants to surrender to Kjotv to save the lives of Rosta and all the inhabitants of the settlement.

Unfortunately, his sacrifice will be in vain. Eivor’s parents are killed and Kjotve will order the whole settlement to be destroyed. Luckily, Eivor with Sigurd’s help will manage to escape.

After a longer cut-scene, you will choose the gender of the main character of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla:

  1. Eivor as a female;
  2. Eivor as a male;
  3. You can also have Animus decide for you (default option).

The gender of the hero in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla can be changed at any time during the game – just go to the options.
