Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed the company’s plans to participate in the upcoming gaming exhibition E3 2023, but at the same time questioned the holding of the event as such. The organizers have already responded.

Recall that at the end of January there were reports that Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo would not be present at E3 2023, however, organizers from ReedPop announced their interest in the show of others. «the largest companies in the industry».

Despite Guillemot’s shadow of doubt, ReedPop President Lance Fensterman assures that E3 2023 is safe and preparations for the exhibition are moving forward «full swing».
Fensterman added that ReedPop usually doesn’t reveal attendees until shortly before the event, but in the case of E3 2023 “correct his style as much as possible”.

The first invitations to E3 2023 for specialized publications and bloggers will be sent out today, February 17, and in the coming weeks ReedPop will share information about «exciting new features for the remastered E3 2023».
E3 2023 will run from June 13 to 16, with partner digital previews starting on the 11th. Hosted by Geoff Keighley, Summer Game Fest, an annual digital festival, kicks off June 8th.
