Recall that Game Insight LLC is a subsidiary of the Lithuanian Game Insight Group UAB, which liquidated its Russian studios in the summer of 2022, fired 600 employees, and, having salary debts (about 125 million rubles), filed for bankruptcy of Game Insight. . The company was declared bankrupt in October.
In a conversation with Kommersant, Kachura, appointed by the Moscow Arbitration Court as bankruptcy trustee, said that he plans to bring to subsidiary liability “a wide range of persons controlling the company”. The beneficiaries of Game Insight may face criminal cases under several articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
Kachura, citing internal Game Insight documentation, claims that both Lithuanian and Russian Game Insight were controlled by Igor Matsanyuk, former vice president of Mail.ru Group (now VK), as well as the founders of the Internet holding, Mikhail Vinchel and Grigory Finger.

According to Kachura, today Game Insight Group UAB still owes Game Insight another €1.4 million, but does not transfer money, citing sanctions. It is reported that at the end of 2021, the Russian Game Insight showed revenue in the amount of 1.5 billion rubles with a net profit of 100 million rubles.
Lawyers interviewed by Kommersant believe that if the investigating authorities reveal signs of a crime under Art. 196 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional bankruptcy), a criminal case will be initiated on this fact. Precisely according to Art. 196 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, cases are initiated infrequently, but the actions of the accused can be qualified under other articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
During its operation, Game Insight has released a number of popular mobile games, including Paradise Island, Guns of Boom, Cloud Raiders and others. “Game Insight” worked on the order of the Lithuanian structure, which owns trademarks and rights to projects, and received funds from it.
