Call of Duty of 2023 has not even been formally presented yet, and thanks to the efforts of insider Tom Henderson, almost everything was already known about the game except for the name. Now the informant has revealed it too.

Earlier it was reported that Call of Duty announced for 2023 was conceived as DLC, but in the end it will be “a standalone product at full price” from Sledgehammer Games, closely related to the Modern Warfare sub-series.
According to sources from Henderson and his portal Insider Gaming, the new game in the series will be called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III) – yes, exactly the same as the 2011 game.

The new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will allegedly offer a story campaign, multiplayer and zombie mode, as well as a new map for the shareware battle royale Warzone 2.0 with the start of the first season.
As for the zombies, this mode of Modern Warfare 3 will supposedly be an advanced version of Outbreak from Black Ops Cold War. It is assumed that Activision has not yet decided whether to make this Outbreak 2.0 part of a paid game or release it separately for free.

Present a new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, according to Henderson, plan on August 1 as part of an in-game event, as was the case with several previous parts of the series. Other important dates for the game include:
- from 6 to 10 October – “beta” on the PlayStation;
- from October 12 to 16 – “beta” on all target platforms;
- November 2 — start of early access to the story campaign;
- November 10 – full release;
- December 5 — the start of the first season with a new map for Warzone 2.0.
Rumor has it that a new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is being made for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. Sledgehammer employees are worried about the tight (less than two years) development timeline, but are more optimistic than Vanguard’s production.
