Developers from the British studio FuturLab, with the support of the publisher Square Enix Collective, have revealed the release date of the free Midgar Special Pack based on Final Fantasy VII for the PowerWash Simulator pressure washer simulator.

The fact that content from Final Fantasy VII will appear in the PowerWash Simulator was announced on the 26th anniversary of the release of the iconic JRPG. As it turns out, the Midgar Special Pack will be available to all base game customers as early as March 2 at 10:00 AM (UTC).
The Midgar Special Pack will take players to the Midgar metropolis from Final Fantasy VII. The pack includes a new type of dirt (biological waste) and a five-level mini-campaign:
- a Hardy-Daytona motorcycle and a three-wheeled Shinra Hauler pickup truck;
- robot Scorpion guard;
- bar «7th Heaven» in the slums of Sector 7;
- a model of Midgar in the building of the Shinra company;
- Airbuster robot.
It is worth noting that Midgar Special Pack is not the first collaboration in PowerWash Simulator. Earlier in the game, the Tomb Raider Special Pack with locations in the Croft family mansion from the Tomb Raider series became available in the game.
The Midgar Special Pack, like the Tomb Raider Special Pack before it, will be released on all PowerWash Simulator target platforms — PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch, as well as Game Pass (PC and Xbox).
The creators of PowerWash Simulator offer cleanliness lovers and those who are calmed by routine work to relax by washing pavements, patios, vehicles and parks. The game supports co-op for six.
PowerWash Simulator debuted in Steam Early Access in the spring of 2021, and with a full release it appeared on consoles. The project has more than 30 thousand reviews in the Valve service, 97% of which are positive.
