OnePlus unveiled the Ace 2 smartphone – an under-flagship with last year’s Snapdragon and a price of $412

China officially unveiled the OnePlus Ace 2 mid-range smartphone just a few hours before the premiere in India, where the same smartphone will be released under the name OnePlus 11R 5G. Externally, the novelty in many ways resembles the flagship OnePlus 11, but it costs much less and is equipped with last year’s flagship Snapdragon chip.

The smartphone is equipped with a curved 6.74-inch AMOLED display with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The system runs on last year’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 5G mobile flagship platform and will receive up to 16 GB of RAM.
The main camera received the same 50-megapixel IMX890 module as in OnePlus 11, but the Hasselblad branding from the rear panel has disappeared. There is also an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro module. Finally, hiding behind a hole in the display, the selfie module has a 16 megapixel matrix. The main rear camera can shoot video with a resolution of 4K and a frame rate of 30 frames / s, both electronic and optical image stabilization are supported.
