HP introduced budget laptops with AMD Mendocino processors on Zen 2

HP has released several low-cost laptop models in 14, 15, and 17-inch formats with AMD’s Mendocino series processors. This series of processors includes Athlon and Ryzen models based on Zen 2 architecture, with a TDP of 15W and equipped with Radeon 610M integrated graphics with two graphics cores based on RDNA 2 architecture.

The HP Laptop 17z-cp200 model offers a 17.3-inch display with support for 1600 × 900 or 1920 × 1080 pixels, depending on configuration. For the laptop, 8 GB of RAM and an NVMe solid-state drive with a capacity of 128, 256, 512 GB or 1 TB are declared.
As a basis, the novelty can offer a dual-core and quad-thread Athlon Gold 7220U with a frequency of up to 3.7 GHz or a quad-core and eight-thread Ryzen 3 7320U with a frequency of up to 4.1 GHz. The novelty also indicates support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless standards. This model also received a 41 Wh battery, USB Type-C and Type-A (5 Gb / s) connectors, a combined 3.5-audio output and one HDMI 1.4b. The weight of the laptop is 1.41 kg.
