Barbarian Best Skills in Diablo Immortal

Every class in Diablo Immortal unlocks 2 Primary Attacks and 12 Skills, with all unlocked at level 50. While there is always an element of personal choice, these are among the best abilities for Barbarians. These represent not only those with the greatest power, but also those with the most flexibility.

Best Primary Attack

  •  Lacerate – Barbarians don’t use Primary Attack skills very often – so using one with a positive side effect makes even more sense. While Lacerate does decent single-target damage, it is mostly used because of its healing component which increases the overall survivability of the melee class.

Best Skills

  •  Whirlwind – The most iconic skill in the Barbarian skill set is also the most powerful skill in terms of overall damage. With the right synergies provided by your legendary items, Whirlwind will be your go-to main damage skill.
  •  Wrath of the Berserker – This skill adds everything a Barbarian ever needs for farming: speed and damage. It serves as our main offensive cooldown to increase clear speed or to overcome bigger monster packs and bosses.
  •  Sprint – The fact that a Barbarian deals damage on the move turns Sprint into the movement skill of choice.
  •  Furious Charge – As already said, Barbarians want speed and damage, and Furious Charge offers plenty of both: Its damage scaling is pretty impressive, and it serves as a great escape or positioning tool in sticky combat situations.

Barbarian Primary Attacks

Each class receives two Primary Attacks, one available from level 1 and the second unlocking at level XXX. These will be your main damage-dealing abilities. Using your Primary Attack also charges your Ultimate bar, which when full can be unleashed to supercharge your Primary Attack for 12 seconds. Primary Attacks have available Legendary Powers that enhance their effectiveness.

Barbarian Legendary Powers in Diablo Immortal

Lacerate (Level 1)

Launch a series of attacks that deal 2466 to 3551 damage with each hit. Every third hit heals you for 15% of damage done.

Modified by Ultimate Ability:

  •  Blood and Rage: Enhance  Lacerate for 12 seconds, increasing its healing to 20% of damage done on each attack, increasing its range, and causing every third attack to knock enemies away. You also gain a shield that absorbs damage equal to 20% of your max Life for 3 seconds.

Modified by Legendary Powers:

  •  Rending Bite (Main Hand): Lacerate now inflicts Bleeding that deals X damage over X seconds.

Frenzy (Level 34)

Launch a frenzied attack for 2280 damage. Each hit increases Frenzy’s attack speed by 8% for 3 seconds, stacking up to 5 times.

Modified by Ultimate Ability:

  •  Restless Demon: Enhance Frenzy for 12 seconds, allowing movement while attacking and unhindered movement through enemies, granting Stun immunity, and increasing attack speed as if fully stacked. You also gain a shield that absorbs damage equal to 20% of your max Life for 3 sec.

Modified by Legendary Powers:

  •  The Maddening (Main Hand): Movement speed increased by 15% while Frenzy is at its maximum stacks.

Barbarian Legendary Powers in Diablo Immortal

Cleave (Level 1)

Active: Unleash a powerful attack that deals 2217 damage to all enemies in front of you, and causes them to Bleed for 2220 damage over 3 seconds.
Cooldown: 9 seconds
Charges: 3

Modified by Legendary Powers:

  •  Svot’s Reach (Main Hand): Cleave now strikes in a full circle around you.
  •  Flesh Splitter (Off-Hand): Cleave damage increased by 10%.
  •  Virulent Fist (Off-Hand): Enemies killed by Cleave will explode, inflicting X damage on all nearby enemies.
  •  Hatred’s Reach (Shoulders): Cleave range increased by X%.

Hammer of the Ancients (Level 1)

Active: Call forth a massive hammer which smashes enemies in front of you for 2959 damage and shakes the earth itself, dealing 588 additional damage over 2 seconds.
Cooldown: 12 seconds

Modified by Legendary Powers:

  •  Ragecaller (Main Hand): Hammer of the Ancients is now electrified, slowing enemy movement by 50% for 2 seconds.
  •  Stonefall (Main Hand): Hammer of the Ancients damage increased by 10%.
  •  Razorgrip (Off-Hand): The range and damage of Hammer of the Ancients can now be increased by charging it up.
  •  The Remembered (Off-Hand): Hammer of the Ancients now summons a Spirit of the Ancients who stuns all nearby enemies and then fights beside you for a while.
  •  Davin’s Legacy (Chest): Hammer of the Ancients maximum charges increased by X.

Chained Spear (Level 3)

Active: Hurl 3 chained spears that deal 1736 damage and then return, dragging impaled enemies back to you and dealing another 434 damage.
Cooldown: 10 seconds

Modified by Legendary Powers:

  •  Obin’s Many Fingers (Off-Hand): Chained Spear hurls X additional spears.
  •  Charred Iron (Chest): Chained Spear now hurls a flaming spear that damages all enemies in its path and leaves a Burning trail.
  •  Cracklefell (Chest): Chained Spear now hurls an electrified spear that damages and immobilizes all enemies in path.
  •  Crusher Rig (Chest): Chained Spear now hurls giant rocks, inflicting damage on all enemies in its path.
  •  Impaler’s Breath (Chest): Chained Spear now hurls a harpoon that knocks enemies away, damaging and Stunning them.

Whirlwind (Level 8)

Active: Become a whirlwind of steel, continually striking all nearby enemies for 836 damage while moving at 70% reduced speed. Using Whirlwind slowly consumes its energy, which recovers while Whirlwind is not in use.
Cooldown: 0.5 seconds

Modified by Legendary Powers:

  •  Eager Maelstrom (Main Hand): Whirlwind radius increased, but Whirlwind movement speed reduced.
  •  Ydama’s Cyclone (Shoulders): Whirlwind damage increased by X%.
  •  Ferocious Gale (Chest): Whirlwind occasionally throws out tornadoes that deal X damage to any enemies they strike.
  •  The Gathering (Chest): Whirlwind pulls in all enemies in damages.
  •  North Wind (Main Hand): Whirlwind now also inflicts a stacking Chill.
  •  Grimroost (Shoulders): Whirlwind grants you a shield that absorbs damage equal to X% of damage done by Whirlwind.

Sprint (Level 18)

Active: Increase your movement speed by 50% for 4.5 seconds. While active, you may move unhindered through enemies and you are immune to movement impairing effects.
Cooldown: 8 seconds.

Modified by Legendary Powers:

  •  Second Breath (Head): Sprint duration increased by X%.
  •  Spiritbreaker (Head): Sprint also leaves tornadoes in your path that deal X damage to any enemies they strike.
  •  Broken Grasp (Shoulders): Sprint also increases your dodge chance by X%.
  •  Hell’s Legacy (Shoulders): Sprint also leaves a trail of flames, dealing X damage to enemies over X seconds.
  •  Juggernaut’s Plan (Legs): Sprint now causes you to run continuously, knocking enemies in your path.
  •  Swiftwing (Legs): Sprint now also increases movement speed of nearby allies.

Furious Charge (Level 24)

Active: Charge forward, knocking away all enemies in your path an dealing 2620 damage. Max 3 charges. Players may only be affected once every 3 seconds by this skill.
Cooldown: 9 seconds

Modified by Legendary Powers:

  •  Determination (Legs): Furious Charge can now be charged up to increase its range and damage.
  •  Screaming Fury (Legs): Furious Charge now charges to a location, damaging all nearby enemies and knocking them into the air. Also increases maximum charges to X.
  •  Tracker’s Rage (Chest): All damage you deal increased by X% after activating Furious Charge.

Leap (Level 29)

Active: Leap to a location, dealing 2604 damage to all nearby enemies when you land and reducing their movement speed by 50% for 4 seconds. Each full life enemy struck by Leap will reduce Leap’s cooldown by 1 second.
Cooldown: 12 seconds

Modified by Legendary Powers:

  •  Sellena’s Iron (Main Hand): Leap causes the ground to shake where you land, dealing X damage to all enemies in the area over X seconds.
  •  Animal Instinct (Shoulders): Leap can now charges up to increase range and damage.
  •  Shocking Chaos (Shoulders): Leap is now electrified Stunning all nearby enemies where you land.*
  •  Howler’s Lift (Legs): Leap damage increased by X%.
  •  Kar’s Defiance (Legs): Leap also grants you a shield that absorbs X damage.

Demoralize (Level 38)

Active: Release a ferocious shout that forces nearby monsters to attack you. Also deals 1614 damage to all nearby enemies and reduces their damage done by 30%. Lasts 8 seconds.
Cooldown: 16 seconds

Modified by Legendary Powers:

  •  Dishonored Blade (Off-Hand): Demoralize duration increased by 30%.
  •  Battlemaster’s Helm (Head): Demoralize is replaced with a war cry that increases all damage you and nearby allies inflict.
  •  Bestial Threat (Head): Demoralize is replaced with a terrifying roar that damages all nearby enemies and Immobilizes them.
  •  Impending Slaughter (Head): Demoralize is replaced with an intimidating shout that damages nearby enemies and decreases their attack and movement speeds.

Ground Stomp (Level 41)

Active: Stomp the ground, Stunning nearby enemies for up to 1.5 seconds and dealing 2589 damage. Charging longer increases range and duration up to 3 seconds.
Cooldown: 9 seconds

Modified by Legendary Powers:

  •  Weighted Brow (Head): Ground Stomp range increased by X%.
  •  Rockspike (Legs): Ground Stomp now affects all nearby enemies and can be charged to increase range and damage.
  •  Shattered Ground (Legs): Ground Stomp now produces an earthquake, continually damaging enemies in the area but no longer Stunning them.

Wrath of the Berserker (Level 44)

Active: Enter a berserker rage that increases your attack speed by 50% and movement speed by 20% for 6.5 seconds.
Cooldown: 30 seconds.

Modified by Legendary Powers:

  •  Broken Soul (Off-Hand): Wrath of the Berserker now increases Critical Hit Chance instead of Attack Speed.
  •  Berserker’s Sanity (Head): Wrath of the Berserker now also dispels effects which cause loss of control of your character.
  •  Lasting Hate (Head): Wrath of the Berserker now also dispels effects which cause loss of control of your character.
  •  The Coming Storm (Shoulders): Wrath of the Berserker cooldown decreased by X%.

Undying Rage (Level 44)

Active: Enter a rage for 4 seconds that prevents you from dying and causes all your attacks to heal you for 30% of damage done. Undying Rage activates automatically when you take fatal damage.

Modified by Legendary Powers:

Grab (Level 47)

Active: Seize a nearby enemy and wield it as a weapon, replacing your Primary Attack with a swing that does X to Y damage against all enemies in front of you. Activate again to throw the enemy, dealing Z damage to enemies in a direction. Monsters are grabbed for 4 seconds and players for 2 seconds.
