The Comicbook portal noticed that after the release of the fantasy role-playing action game Hogwarts Legacy, a new leader appeared in the list of the most desired games of the digital distribution service Steam.

The list is compiled based on additions to the Steam wishlists. Hogwarts Legacy topped it in October, ahead of MMO shooter The Day Before. Subsequently, the project of the Yakut Fntastic dropped out of the fight for first place for an unusual reason.
As it became known, after the release of Hogwarts Legacy, Steam users are most waiting not for Starfield or STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, but for the cooperative survival simulator with horror elements Sons of the Forest.

It is noteworthy that last fall, Sons of the Forest was only in tenth place on the list. Probably, the growing hype and already tangible (unlike most other top 10 participants) release worked.
Recall, Sons of the Forest comes out on Steam on February 23, but only in early access. At the start, they promise a single mode and multiplayer for eight, a plot, a new building system, crafting, an arsenal, a dynamic change of weather and seasons.

According to SteamDB, the top 10 games by the number of additions to the Steam wishlist at the time of publication are as follows:
- Sons of the Forest;
- Starfield;
- Party Animals;
- Hollow Knight: Silksong;
- Dark and Darker
- Manor Lords;
- STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl;
- Frostpunk 2;
- ARK 2;
- Atomic Heart.
At the same time, Starfield (second place), Party Animals (third place), Hollow Knight: Silksong (fourth place) do not yet have an exact release date. Of the top 10, besides Sons of the Forest, only Atomic Heart has it (10th line, February 21).
